How do I change the name on my apartment door?

The name list in the hallway is updated by our Sales Team. Please contact them for assistance. In some properties the change has to be done by the building management and this could sometimes take a few days or a few weeks.

I lost my keys, what do I do?

Lost your house keys, misplaced keys & locked out of the house? This happens and we will try to assist you during office hours. Contact our Housing service team and they will guide you (+46 8 410 337 80).

• During office hours you may pick up an extra set of keys at the Stay Sthlm office.

• You need to call before and book an appointment for the key collection.

• Stay Sthlm will not pay for the transportation of you or the key to your chosen address.

If keys are not available at Stay Sthlm tenant needs to arrange for a locksmith.

Theft/ loss of keys

Please contact the police, call 114 14 or file a report online (click here). Contact your home insurance company for advice and claims. Read more here.

It is important to contract a licensed locksmith in Stockholm. This as many companies who work as locksmiths have no certification, insurance or a suitable skilled required. An unlicensed locksmith is usually cheaper but the cost of repairing the damage can be extent (up to 20 000 SEK).

• After office hours (5 PM to 9 AM, weekends, holidays) the tenant needs to hire a licensed locksmith.

• The tenant must pay for both the locksmith’s service costs, lock change and the costs for 4 set of new keys (2 for the tenant and 2 sets to Stay Sthlm). Contact your insurance company for claims.

• The cost varies, but usually starts at 1 500 SEK, but this depends on the lock, the keys and what the damage on the door.

• Stay Sthlm will not compensate you for i.e. staying in a hotel. Contact your insurance company for claims.

An invoice for rent is a statement of a transaction between a landlord and tenant for the rental of an apartment. Usually, rent payments are made on a monthly basis, which means a rent invoice is sent out to tenants every month. The invoice is sent from invoice@staysthlm.se.

Stay Sthlm offers furnished, partly furnished or unfurnished apartment for temporary living in Stockholm. We can offer you a corporate apartment solution that is fully furnished, to suit your needs at a temporary basis.  All you need to bring is your suitcase and food for the fridge.

You can also add our Stay Plus services and add on internet, electricity and/or cleaning if you like. Speak to our team and they will happily assist you.

Please report any new damages or problems that may occur during the stay. We understand that things happen, so no worries, just keep us infomred.

Furnished or non-furnished apartment, how does it work?

All our apartments come with just the services you need, to provide you a complete home experience as soon as you move in.

Our Housing Services are included in the monthly rental rates, with no additional charges. The standard services and equipment’s are listed below.

Many of our apartments are equipped with washing machine and dryer, which gives you full flexibility. We also offer cleaning service if you prefer that. All tenants have access to the properties laundry room.

Stay in Sweden is not responsible for any damage, theft of valuable personal belongings, money and other items that have been stored in the apartment. This also applies to things left by the tenant after move-out.
